A highly successful school in Spalding is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join its department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who can inspire pupils to develop a strong understanding of psychological theories research and real-world applications.
The successful Psychology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across KS4 and KS5 supporting pupils to develop strong analytical evaluative and research skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an engaging curriculum and help pupils achieve their academic potential.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering engaging Psychology lessons across KS4 to KS5
Developing pupils understanding of key psychological theories and research
Encouraging critical thinking analysis and evaluation
Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The school is looking for a qualified Psychology Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the subject. Experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level would be highly desirable although strong ECTs with relevant experience may also be considered.
The successful candidate will have excellent classroom management skills strong communication abilities and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
