A highly regarded school in Spalding is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Psychology Teacher to join its dedicated department on a full-time basis starting ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Psychology specialist who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that develop their understanding of human behaviour research methods and psychological theory.
The successful Psychology Teacher will teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5 delivering well-structured and engaging lessons that challenge students and support strong academic progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Psychology lessons across KS4 and KS5
Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
Developing students analytical evaluative and critical-thinking skills
Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing positively to the wider department and school community
The school is seeking a Psychology Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school or sixth-form setting
Can confidently teach across KS4 and KS5
Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
Is committed to raising attainment and student engagement
Works effectively as part of a collaborative department
