You would be working in a successful Social Sciences department teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level. The department has a strong reputation for excellent outcomes and delivers an engaging curriculum that encourages students to develop analytical thinking research skills and scientific understanding.
Students are enthusiastic about Psychology and enjoy exploring topics including memory attachment psychopathology and social influence through discussion-based and evidence-led lessons. The curriculum supports students in developing strong essay-writing evaluation and independent learning skills.
The department works collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and targeted intervention to ensure students of all abilities achieve excellent progress. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to enrichment opportunities and wider school activities.
