Location: Birmingham

Salary: 45000 to 60000 (depending on experience)

Experience: 1 to 3 years PQE

Our client is looking to hire a Property Litigation Solicitor into a fast-growing national team in Birmingham. The work is varied and hands-on with a strong focus on defendant housing disrepair matters alongside a broader mix of residential and commercial property litigation.

This is a good move if you want early responsibility a supportive team around you and the chance to build a rounded property litigation skillset while working with a wide range of landlord and real estate clients.

You will manage your own caseload and play a key role in a team that has grown significantly in recent years and is continuing to expand. You will also have the opportunity to support junior colleagues and get involved in business development and profile raising.

What Youll Be Doing

• Managing your own caseload of mixed property litigation matters predominantly defendant housing disrepair work

• Handling a broader range of residential disputes including possession claims rent recovery and disrepair matters

• Supporting commercial property litigation work as needed such as estate management possession actions business lease renewals and injunctions

• Assisting other case handlers with their caseloads when required

• Supporting and developing more junior members of the team

• Contributing to business development and networking activity

• Completing MI procedures and working to agreed targets and KPIs

• Ensuring deadlines compliance and quality measures are met

What Were Looking For

• 1 to 3 years PQE

• Experience of property litigation ideally including defendant housing disrepair work

• A flexible approach comfortable switching between tasks and priorities

• Strong IT skills and confidence working with case management systems

• Clear communication and good client-handling skills

• Strong organisation time management and the ability to work to deadlines and targets

• Able to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
