Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Engineer to support the delivery of major engineering and infrastructure projects within a highly regulated environment. Working closely with project teams suppliers and site personnel you will ensure quality requirements are implemented maintained and continuously improved throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with experience in manufacturing construction energy or nuclear sectors who is passionate about process compliance inspections and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project quality assurance activities are delivered in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with quality processes procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Conduct quality inspections verification activities dimensional checks and review NDT records.
  • Support supplier quality audits assessments and site quality reviews.
  • Analyse quality performance and produce KPI reports for management and project stakeholders.
  • Identify non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review quality documentation including inspection records manufacturing dossiers and welding documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Support project teams to achieve compliance with applicable quality standards and specifications.

Qualifications :

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer Project Quality Engineer Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes within manufacturing construction engineering or energy projects.
  • Experience with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) inspections and verification activities.
  • Knowledge of NDT methods and dimensional inspection techniques.
  • Experience working with supplier quality management and site quality reviews.
  • Strong reporting and KPI analysis skills including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Understanding of welding procedures and quality documentation.
  • Familiarity with RCCM requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ideally ISO 19443 standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within the nuclear sector particularly Nuclear New Build projects.
  • French language skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing certification or practical application experience.
