Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex cross- functional projects/programmes that align with the strategic objectives of the organisation. This role involves overseeing multiple interrelated projects managing stakeholders ensuring resource alignment and delivering measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management capable of leading diverse teams and driving transformation in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning execution and delivery of large-scale projects from initiation through to closure
Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior stakeholders
Develop and manage project budgets timelines and resource plans
Coordinate cross-project activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals
Identify and manage project -level risks issues and dependencies
Establish governance structures and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and performance
Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels ensuring e ective communication and change management
Ensure compliance with internal policies industry standards and regulatory requirements
Mentor and support project managers and team members to build capability and ensure consistent delivery practices
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management Engineering IT or a related field
Professional certification in project management (e.g. MSP PMP PRINCE2 Agile)
Desirable Qualifications:
Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years in a leadership or project management role
5 years experience in Financial Services sector
5 years of experience delivering technology solutions including datacentre campus networks cloud security software hardware EUS etc.
Experience of delivering projects involving vendors such as Cisco Arista Juniper Fortinet Palo Alto etc.
Proven track record of delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects worth 300k on time and within budget
Experience working in matrixed global organisations and managing cross- functional teams
Strong understanding and experience of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
Experience with Project and PMO teams tools and best practices
Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement

Location & Hours
Hybrid working model with weekly travel to London o ices
