Project Manager

This is a permanent full-time role based at Glasgow Airport.

Role overview
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful initiation planning design execution monitoring controlling and closure of projects across the AGS Group.

Principle accountabilities

• Delivery of AGS Group capital projects from concept to delivery and integration following the AGS Capital Process.
• Ensure project delivery within agreed time cost and quality targets whilst ensuring compliance with health and safety and the environment and managing risk.
• Accountable for ongoing management of project plans within agreed budgetary limits.
• Manage technical input through option development design and scope definition.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure value added.
• Manage project administration including financials maintenance integration and asset handover.
• Manage quality assurance from construction decision to handover.
• Coordinate technical expertise for asset replacement decisions.
• Ensure clear project goals milestones roles and responsibilities are identified tracked and delivered.

Qualifications and experience

• Project management experience in an operational environment
• Portfolio management experience with diverse projects
• Effective contractor/supplier management
• Stakeholder and customer management
• Decision making and issue resolution
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Airport operating environment experience
• Influencing negotiating and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret technical analysis and evaluate options
