About the Role

We are working with our client a leading specialist within the façades and building envelope sector who are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the successful delivery of a major full envelope package on a large-scale data centre project in mainland Europe.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall direction performance and successful execution of a complex high-value project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering large-scale building envelope projects ideally within mission-critical environments such as data centres industrial facilities or high-spec commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for a major full envelope project
• Oversee delivery of façade roofing cladding curtain walling and associated envelope systems
• Manage project execution from pre-start planning through to completion and client handover
• Lead and coordinate project teams including Project Managers Design Managers and Site Managers
• Ensure programme budget quality and safety objectives are consistently achieved
• Act as the primary senior point of contact for the client main contractor and key stakeholders
• Drive commercial performance risk management and change control across the project
• Oversee procurement strategy and supply chain performance
• Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations technical requirements and regulatory standards
• Lead progress reviews client meetings and senior reporting functions
• Promote best practice in delivery innovation and value engineering

Key Requirements

• Proven experience at Project Director or Senior Project Manager level within façades or building envelope sector
• Strong track record delivering large-scale envelope packages on complex projects
• Experience working on data centres or mission-critical / high-spec industrial projects preferred
• Deep understanding of curtain walling cladding systems roofing and façade interfaces
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-million-pound project budgets
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage large multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong client-facing experience with Tier 1 / Tier 2 main contractor environments
• Ability to manage complex programmes and deliver under tight deadlines
• Willingness to be site-based in mainland Europe for the duration of the project
