12-Hour Rotating Continental Shifts

We are currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing team in London ON.

• Supervise assigned production shift
• Direct and support shop floor personnel
• Record machine reliability hourly
• Reassign machine operators during machine breakdowns
• Perform inventory duties and review with management
• Review PM reports and take corrective action as required
• Order spare parts and maintain critical spares inventory
• Conduct monthly Tool Box Talks with employees
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
• Address production and operational issues with management
• Train new employees and assist with corrective actions
• Other duties as assigned

• 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Union environment experience is considered an asset
• Aluminum or heavy manufacturing experience is an asset
• Knowledge of rebar manufacturing equipment is an asset
