Job Summary

At Amazon customer success drives our mission. The Production Planning Team optimizes capacity across Fulfillment Centers through innovative solutions planning. We seek diverse perspectives and experiences to strengthen our global operations and customer experience.

This role requires expertise to develop network-wide strategies and drive operational excellence. Collaborate with multiple business teams including FC operations HR finance supply chain transportation work force staffing and others.


Key job responsibilities
* Develop and execute short/medium/long-term operational plans to optimize staffing costs.
* Supporting with warehouse staffing/capacity metrics forecasting using statistical modeling to drive collaborative decision-making.
* Responsible for warehouse processing capacity planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; focus on understanding data deviations their root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
* Analyze capacity planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities and be able to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with global teams across Europe.
* Support Production planning and cost optimization initiatives.

- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Information Systems Engineering Operations Research Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level including: pivot tables macros index/match vlookup VBA data links etc.
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data

- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience working in a fast paced quickly changing or international environment
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- Experience in capacity planning operations planning business analysis or equivalent
- Experience with operations/supply chain
- Ability to closely work with operation finance and planning leaders to manage lead-time capacity and optimize the impact of labor on supply position throughout the entire supply chain
