Job Summary

About the role

The Production Operator plays a key role in operating machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility to ensure the efficient safe and high-quality production of our materials. This role supports daily operational goals maintains safety and quality standards and contributes to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

This position is an full-time on-site role based at our Cramlington facility.

  • Safely set up operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and production lines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and cleaning of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Maintain accurate production records logs and material tracking within internal inventory and reporting systems.
  • Adhere strictly to all site Environment Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

Required:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing production or warehouse environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health safety and operational standards.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with machinery operation and manual material handling.

Skills you need to succeed:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with basic technical and problem-solving abilities.
