OnsiteRaytheon UK has exciting new 12 month FTC opportunities for Production Associate (s) to join our team in Glenrothes.
As a Production Associate you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility with potential requirement to travel to the alternative site (Livingston) when needed.
We are able to offer a position where you will get full training to be able to be successful within the role your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS clearance.
Responsibilities:
- soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
- mechanical and wiring assembly
- kit preparation
- bonding and coating
- testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above or previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
