Location: Hybrid up to 3 days a week at VHQ Crawley
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

At Virgin Atlantic we believe everyone can take on the world. As we continue our journey to become the most loved travel company were looking for a Product Owner to help shape the digital experience of our Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) products.

Youll own the digital customer journey across IFEC leading product discovery delivery and continuous optimisation. Balancing customer insight commercial value and delivery efficiency youll make sure every release creates a meaningful improvement for our customers and our business.

The role

As Product Owner youll manage the product backlog and set strategic priorities for your area. Working closely with engineering UX data insights commercial loyalty and contact centre teams youll turn complex customer and business needs into clear actionable product outcomes.

Youll lead delivery through cross-functional squads and external suppliers taking initiatives from discovery through to launch and optimisation. Youll use research data customer feedback and experimentation to measure performance identify opportunities and continuously improve the experience.

Youll also represent IFEC in key cross-functional forums influencing roadmap direction prioritisation and delivery trade-offs. With the autonomy to lead complex initiatives youll help shape our wider product practice and mentor more junior Product Owners across the business.

Youll be responsible for

• Owning the product backlog roadmap and strategic priorities for IFEC.
• Prioritising opportunities based on customer impact business value and delivery feasibility.
• Leading product discovery delivery and optimisation from end to end.
• Defining success measures and using data insight and experimentation to improve outcomes.
• Coordinating engineering teams internal stakeholders and hardware and software suppliers.
• Identifying risks resolving blockers and maintaining momentum across delivery.
• Communicating product progress performance and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Championing modern product management and agile delivery practices.

• Supporting and mentoring junior Product Owners.

About you

Youll have demonstrable experience in digital product management and supplier management with a proven track record of independently leading product discovery and delivery cycles.

Youll bring strong experience in prioritisation value mapping and product lifecycle management alongside a data-fluent and experimentation-led approach. Youll be comfortable working across multiple functions and with external suppliers building alignment and trust while making clear evidence-based decisions.

Youll also be confident communicating complex product ideas in a clear and persuasive way influencing stakeholders at all levels and helping others develop their product capability.
