Product Owner, Data Platform

Our Technology Department is responsible for the management of all services infrastructure and business projects across the organisation ensuring RBO staff have the technology and tools to be able to fulfill their roles and operate effectively. We are now seeking to appoint to a newly created position with the Technology Delivery Team a Product Owner for our data platforms. Starting with a focus on the development and optimisation of our Customer Data Platform this role will then evolve to own the wider Enterprise Data Platform. As we mature as an organisation in our use of data and technology we are looking to support audience growth customer insight commercial performance and evidence-based decision making. This role will be a vital bridge across business strategy data capability and technology delivery and will work collaboratively across key departments to champion a product-led ideal candidate will be a product professional with significant transferable experience of delivering products in agile environments. They will be able to facilitate conversation across both technical and non-technical groups demonstrating excellent communication and influencing skills. This role will be a mix of strategy and delivery so the successful candidate will be able to see the bigger picture whilst also not being afraid to roll their sleeves up when will be able to demonstrate:Significant experience as a Product Owner Product Manager or equivalent owning and developing data products data platforms or analytics stakeholder management experience including engagement with senior business working with customer data audience insight CRM marketing technology or analytics of data governance privacy and compliance practices including GDPR requirements and the secure handling of personal in arts culture entertainment visitor attraction membership or retail organisations is not a pre-requisite but it will be highly regarded.
