Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure procurements adhere to Government regulations regarding the advertising and publishing of opportunities.
• Ensurethat thedefinedbestpracticeprocurementprocessesand policies arefollowed todeliver maximumuse ofe-ProcurementSystemsandprocesses
• Develop close co-operative relationships with internal partners to leverage their expertise understand local market conditions support their specific aims and objectives and deliver value adding services and agreements
• Independently prepare pre-tender and tender documents following this through the full procurement sourcing life cycle
• Support the Procurement Manager with any ad-hoc and strategic activities
• Support driving the implementation of best practices into Procurement operations and service transformation

To do this role well you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Proven track record in preparing and managing tenders and contracts with precision and efficiency ensuring smooth procurement processes from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience using eProcurement tools and purchasing platforms to streamline sourcing activities and enhance procurement outcomes.
• Valuable experience supporting Procurement Managers (or similar roles) by driving best practice procurement ensuring strict adherence to processes and policies and maximising opportunities for savings.
