The role

As a Procurement Project Manager youll play a key role in supporting the delivery of one of the United Kingdoms most significant clean energy infrastructure programmes Sizewell C. Working within a multidisciplinary project team youll lead the development and delivery of procurement strategies and plans that support the successful delivery of a major piping programme.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week based in Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available and occasional travel to customer sites will be expected.

Day-to-day youll be required to:

• Leading the delivery of procurement strategies and plans to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C piping scope.
• Collaborating with project management engineering procurement project controls and quality teams to achieve programme objectives.
• Managing interfaces with major engineering procurement and construction contractors suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Supporting the development of delivery plans that optimise safety schedule performance and project costs.
• Identifying project risks and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation and risk management strategies.

Essential experience of the Procurement Project Manager:

• Previous experience working in a project management and procurement-focused role.
• Experience using NEC contracts and CEMAR contract management systems.
• Experience managing and coordinating major engineering procurement and construction contractors and supplier relationships.
• Experience developing strategies that support health safety and environmental risk reduction schedule optimisation and cost efficiency.
• Experience identifying project risks and supporting the development of risk assessments and mitigation plans.

Qualifications for the Procurement Project Manager:

• Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience.

Security Clearance
