Procurement Buyer

Overview

Nomad Digital are on the look out for a Procurement Buyer to join our global Procurement department. The successful individual will be responsible for working in partnership with Nomads suppliers to strengthen our global Procurement Buyer the successful candidate will be responsiblefor the delivery of group procurement processes supporting the business plus anyassociated contract management and service level agreements for a specified group of supplier expenditure

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supports the procurement& supply chaindirectorwith all group related procurement policy and any associated processesand reporting requirements
• Representsprocurement at internal project meetings ensuring that all requirements are met as per project
  deadlines andtimeframesin addition to communicating with stakeholders as necessary
• Regular engagement with suppliersto buildstrong partnerships as well assupport delivery performance quality management and riskmanagementandensure continuity and compliancewithin the business
• Leads sourcing activity for both direct and indirect categories ensuring that quality/cost/deliveryis built into any
  process to ensure the most efficient solution is delivered in line with group procurement processes
• Deliver any contract management requirements and supplier relationship management for any supplier
  expenditure both existing and any newly created contracting arrangements
• Deliver annual savings target in line with group procurement delivery plan based on both direct and indirectexpenditure
• Managelogisticsand stock requirementsas well assupporting stockreduction activities across thebusiness.
• Ensurethat adequate stock andlead-timeinformation iscommunicated to all internal stakeholders to support projects
• Identifysystem improvementsin line with business objectives
• Management and update of Nomad internal IT systems ensuring processes are followed and applied

Qualification & Experience Requirements

• CIPS or equivalent qualification isrequired

• Degree inProcurement &Supply Chainor related disciplinerequired

• Minimum (5 years) working in a procurement role or equivalent

• Some experience of working in or managing projects representing procurement as a function

• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems such asNetSuite

• Working knowledge of contract management processes and practices

• Experience of leading and working within multi stakeholder groups across organisation
