Job Title: Procurement AssistantFunction: CommercialLocation: Hybrid - within our Gradient Mill office (Wakefield) Type: Fixed Term 9 months contractSalary: 29316 Closing Date: 31st July 2026We have a great opportunity for a Procurement Assistant to join our Commercial Medical and Surgical Consumables team. The Procurement Assistant will work as an integral member of the category teams ensuring procurement processes are managed in line with identified KPIs. The role supports the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for customers and stakeholders consistently providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that relationships and processes are managed effectively to enable overall team and organisational targets to be team is responsible for managing six key categories:Pressure Area Care and Patient Handling (PACPH)Maternity Obstetrics Gynaecology and Sexual Health ProductsAids for Daily LivingInfant Feeding and AccessoriesObstetrics and Vinyl PessariesSurgical ImplantsWheelchairs Specialist Seating and ServicesGiven the breadth and complexity of these categories the Procurement Assistant role is critical in ensuring continuity of service maintaining procurement performance standards and supporting the delivery of customer requirements. The procurement assistant role means the team can continue to meet operational demands maintain stakeholder service levels and deliver against its procurement day you will.
