About the Team
As Principal EMEA Events and Experience Marketing Manager youll be a senior individual contributor shaping how Workday shows up across the region. Youll design and lead a strategic portfolio of events and experiences from Workday Rising EMEA to regional executive and partner engagements that deepen relationships with customers and prospects build our brand and support pipeline and revenue goals.Youll partner closely with EMEA Marketing Sales and Global Experience Marketing to turn business objectives into insight-led measurable programs across live digital and hybrid formats. While you wont manage a team directly youll lead through influence orchestrating cross-functional stakeholders agencies and partners to deliver standout inclusive experiences the Workday way.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the events and experience strategy for a defined EMEA portfolio aligned to regional business priorities and target segments.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution for major programs (e.g. Workday Rising EMEA partner summits executive forums customer councils) from concept and content through to delivery.
Build robust project plans and governance managing timelines budgets risks and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Oversee complex logistics and production (venue strategy contracts staffing registration sponsorship technical production speaker and vendor management) through agencies and partners.
Collaborate with Field/Regional Marketing ABM Product & Industry Marketing Sales Customer Success and Alliances to integrate events into broader go-to-market and account plans.
Define and track clear success measures (pipeline and revenue impact engagement metrics NPS/CSAT attendee feedback) using insights to optimise and scale best practices across markets.
Champion innovation and inclusion in how we design experiences introducing new ideas formats and technologies that differentiate Workday in the market.
About You
Basic Qualifications
10 years of experience in B2B event and/or experience marketing conference production or integrated field marketing ideally in a high-growth global SaaS or technology environment.
Proven track record leading complex multi-country customer and prospect programs (e.g. flagship conferences regional summits executive experiences) with measurable business outcomes.
Experience operating as a senior individual contributor and strategic partner to marketing and commercial leaders.
Other Qualifications
Proficient in core productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft Office Google Workspace) and familiar with modern event and digital experience platforms.
Deep operational expertise in logistics production vendor and agency management budgeting and contract oversight with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness.
