This is afrontendpricing role whereyoullwork alongsideUnderwritingto help shape profitable reinsurance decisions across a diverse Property & Casualty portfolio.Youllbehandsonwith complexhighvaluetransactions partnering with brokers and underwriters frominitialanalysis through to bind.
With exposure to a wide range of products and close collaboration with global actuarial colleagues this role offers strong developmentvisibilityand impact.

Your new role
Analyseand price reinsurance treaty business and ensure conclusions and recommendations are analytically robust and clearly supported by data and models.
Present complex analyses in a clear structured manner to both technical andnontechnicalaudiences.
Provide support to underwriters to negotiate terms and structures to meet business goals.This may involve supporting underwriters in broker meetings and calls.
Maintain and continuously improve actuarial methodologies models and reporting practices to meet evolving business needs.
Develop monitoring andadhocreporting to track pricing performance profitability and variance from expectations.
Performdeepdiveportfolio and product analysesidentifyingperformance drivers trends and emerging risks.
Proactivelyidentifyand evaluate opportunities to improve portfolio mix pricing actions and underwriting strategies.
Contribute to business planning and forecasting.
Build andmaintainstrong internal and external stakeholder relationships deliveringtimely relevant and actionable insights.Internal stakeholders include underwriting claimsfinanceand senior leadership.
Foster a culture of technical excellence accountability and continuous improvement within actuarial function.
About you
Actuarial pricing experience within Property & Casualty insurance or reinsurance
Experience developingreviewingor enhancing actuarial models and assumptions
Confidence working independently on complex analysis while collaborating closely with Underwriting
The ability to communicate pricing insights clearly tonontechnicalaudiences
Experience using analytical or programming tools such as VBA SQL R or similar
Actuarial qualification or progress toward qualification (e.g.FCAS ACAS FIA IFOA orequivalent)
