Pricing Actuary

We are looking for a qualified commercially minded Actuary to join our Pricing & Trading team within Long Term Savings Commercials. This is an exciting opportunity to apply actuarial expertise to a broad range of financial analysis pricing technical work and business-critical projects. You will use your insight to interpret complex data to provide high-quality recommendations to colleagues across the wider business deliver timely reporting and to improve processes and controls. This role offers the chance to make a visible impact work collaboratively with stakeholders and help shape effective pricing and trading outcomes in a supportive and inclusive environment.

About the role

Deliver high-quality actuarial analysis modelling and reporting to support business and financial decision-making.
Review and interpret complex data applying sound judgement to produce clear insights and recommendations.
Support the production of reports and documentation to agreed standards timescales and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve processes controls and documentation to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Contribute to projects by providing actuarial expertise constructive challenge and clear progress updates.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the department and wider business to explain findings in a clear accessible way.

About you

Qualified Actuary with strong technical knowledge and experience applying actuarial concepts in a commercial environment (pricing experience would be beneficial).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work confidently with complex data and models.
Can communicate clearly and professionally adapting your approach for different audiences across the business.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality governance and controls.
Enjoy improving processes and finding practical innovative ways to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Work well both independently and collaboratively building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Developing and coaching other team members.
