We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Worcestershire for an experienced Press Tool Maker to join their skilled toolroom team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work within a modern manufacturing environment producing and maintaining high-quality press tooling to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture assemble repair and maintain press tools to required specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings technical specifications and tooling designs.
• Carry out tool modifications and improvements to enhance performance and productivity.
• Operate conventional toolroom machinery including milling grinding turning and drilling equipment.
• Diagnose tooling issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support production teams with tooling-related technical expertise.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of press tools.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Press Tool Maker Toolmaker or in a similar tooling role.
• Strong knowledge of press tool manufacture maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Skilled in the use of conventional toolroom machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant engineering or toolmaking qualifications are desirable.
