Job Overview
Working closely with the Principal and Chief Operating Officer you will take total strategic and operational control of the academys facilities site development plans statutory health and safety compliance and capital building projects. You will also lead mentor and direct a skilled team of site supervisors and caretakers to guarantee immaculate day-to-day functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Estates Planning: Formulate and execute long-term property maintenance strategies environmental sustainability initiatives and capital improvement projects.
Compliance & Risk Governance: Serve as the definitive lead on all health and safety legislation overseeing comprehensive fire risk assessments asbestos management and water safety audits.
Capital Project & Vendor Management: Tender commission and oversee major contractor projects ensuring strict adherence to budget timelines and school procurement policies.
Budget & Resource Administration: Manage the annual premises and maintenance budget tracking expenditures and maximizing value for money across service contracts.
Team Leadership & Operations: Lead and structure the facilities team setting performance goals managing rotas and ensuring rapid response to reactive maintenance needs.
Security & Emergency Planning: Oversee advanced campus security architecture (access control CCTV perimeter protection) and manage emergency business continuity protocols.
