An Outstanding Primary School in Norfolk is seeking a reliable practical and proactive Premises Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong facilities maintenance or premises experience who takes pride in creating a safe secure and welcoming environment for pupils staff and visitors. Similar school-based premises roles in Norfolk involve site security maintenance health and safety checks contractor management and general site operations.

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the school premises

• Open and close the site securely

• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs

• Complete health and safety and compliance checks

• Monitor the condition of buildings grounds and facilities

• Coordinate contractors and maintenance visits

• Manage site security keys and emergency procedures

• Support room setups events and school activities

• Maintain accurate premises and maintenance records

• Ensure the site remains clean safe and well presented

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous premises facilities caretaking or maintenance experience
