Premises Manager

A successful Mixed Secondary School in the London Borough of Barnet is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to oversee the management of its site and facilities on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual who is passionate about maintaining safe secure and high-quality learning environments. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day management of the school premises while supporting the wider operational success of the school.

Responsibilities include overseeing planned and reactive maintenance managing contractors ensuring health and safety compliance monitoring site security and supervising the premises team. You will also coordinate maintenance schedules manage premises budgets and ensure statutory inspections are completed efficiently.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team you will contribute to long-term estates planning and support improvement projects designed to further enhance the schools facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all buildings and grounds remain safe compliant and maintained to an exceptionally high standard throughout the year.

Strong leadership excellent organisational skills and previous facilities or estates management experience are essential for this role.

Previous premises or facilities management experience
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
