Description

We are hiring for our client for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager (Mechanical) to join a growing and highly regarded construction business delivering leading-edge projects across a range of sectors.

This Pre-Construction Manager role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the design planning and successful delivery of major MEP projects from concept through to handover. The successful Pre-Construction Manager will work closely with clients consultants subcontractors and internal teams to develop innovative cost-effective and buildable solutions.

The Role

Lead pre-construction and design activities for Mechanical projects from concept stage through to delivery
Develop designs alongside consultants subcontractors and project stakeholders
Review tender documentation and manage the process through to contract handover
Analyse Mechanical drawings and schematics
Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
Liaise with contracts teams suppliers and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
Ensure solutions are practical commercially viable and deliverable on site

The Person

3 years experience in a Pre-Construction role within construction or MEP projects
Strong Mechanical technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
Full clean driving licence
Positive proactive and team-oriented approach
