About the role
The Safeguarding Quality Assurance and Workforce Development Service are looking for a dynamic child-centredPractice and Learning will be supporting the next part of our organisational journey which includes embedding our enhanced practice model extending our internal training offer and practice approaches with a focus on family feedback supporting child and family participation work and our grow your own workforce development workstreams.
You willhave managerial responsibilities supporting the Students/Apprentices/ASYE workstream and service development whilst also holding akey role in embedding learningactivity and practice developmentacrossFamilyServices and the wider partnership; building relationships and developing opportunities with relevant stakeholders.
You will work closely with our management team and quality assurance systems to target areas of development in practice design and deliver learning events and opportunities that enhance social work practice support our workforce and improve outcomes for children and families. You will need to have a strong background in practice leadership with an excellent grasp on local and national issues impacting social work practice and how thisconnects to learning and development. You will be committed to developing the highest quality services for the most vulnerable and marginalised children and families.
