Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Plumber to join their factory-based production team manufacturing high-quality modular bathroom pods for residential commercial and construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional to work in a modern manufacturing environment installing and testing plumbing systems within pre-fabricated bathroom units before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install hot and cold water systems waste pipes and drainage systems within modular bathroom pods.

  • Fit sanitaryware including toilets wash basins showers baths and associated plumbing fixtures.

  • Work from technical drawings specifications and production schedules.

  • Carry out pressure testing inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance and performance.

  • Diagnose and rectify faults complete snagging works and carry out repairs where required.

  • Collaborate effectively with other trades including electricians joiners and tilers throughout the production process.

  • Ensure all work meets relevant health and safety standards and building regulations.

  • Maintain a clean safe and organised working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plumber.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems pipework installation and sanitaryware fitting.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing modular construction or factory environment would be advantageous.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent qualification).

  • Experience within modular construction or off-site manufacturing.

  • Knowledge of pressure testing and commissioning procedures.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a UKVI IELTS qualification with a minimum score of 5.5 in each of the four components (Listening Reading Writing and Speaking).

Working Environment:

  • Full-time factory-based position.

  • Fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks.

  • Standing for extended periods and handling materials as part of daily duties.

  • Overtime may be available to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
