We are looking for (paid) placement students to help develop new composite technologies for exciting aerospace automotive electronics and other industrial applications.
We count on you for:
Work under the supervision of a scientists/engineer on a project to develop new composite technologies
Preparation and physical chemical and mechanical characterisation of resin/composite formulations
Recording experimental results and observations accurately and concisely
Collaboration with Solvay Research and Innovation colleagues

Supported skills development
You will bring:
Applicants must be part-way through a relevant technical degree (Materials Science Materials Engineering Chemistry Mechanical Engineering etc.) in a UK university and apply for this role as a year-in-industry placement
Enthusiastic team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and creative with good problem-solving skills and a desire to learn
Practical and hands-on with a commitment to safety
