Pipefitter

Location: Throckmorton Worcestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday 10 Hour Days
Duration: 4-Week Contract (Potential for Long-Term Work)
Overtime: Weekend Overtime Available
Start: Immediate

We are currently recruiting 8 experienced Pipefitters for an immediate start in Throckmorton working on the manufacture and installation of modular build plant rooms for major commercial and data centre projects.

This is initially a 4-week contract with the potential to be extended or lead to longer-term work for the right candidates as the project progresses.

Duties:

• Installation of carbon steel stainless steel and copper pipework.
• Threaded grooved press-fit and screwed pipe installations.
• Reading and working from isometric drawings and technical specifications.
• Installing valves pumps flanges and associated mechanical equipment.
• Measuring cutting assembling and installing pipework to a high standard.
• Pressure testing and ensuring all installations meet quality standards.
• Working as part of a team on the assembly of prefabricated modular plant rooms.

Requirements:

• CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Previous experience in industrial pipefitting.
• Experience working on modular build plant rooms HVAC systems or mechanical installations is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
