Salary: Up to 24947.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.
This is a part time role for 21 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
Support patients with prescribed exercises mobility practice and therapeutic activities in a safe and compassionate manner.
Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions ensuring all equipment is safe clean and ready for use.
Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy helping build confidence and engagement.
Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling stock checks and preparation of therapy materials.
Follow all relevant health and safety infection control and safeguarding procedures.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience working in a healthcare care or rehabilitation setting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A caring patient-focused approach and commitment to promoting independence.
Basic literacy numeracy and IT skills.
