We require an inspiring highly analytical Physics Teacher to deliver outstanding physics instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with the opportunity to contribute to post-16 pathways. GCSE Performance Tracking: Guide Year 11 cohorts systematically through the demands of terminal Foundation and Higher tier GCSE papers utilizing formative test data to eliminate deep-seated physics misconceptions and maximize grade retention.
Community Pastoral Care: Fulfill full form tutor responsibilities within an established year group structure managing daily registration delivering pastoral curriculum units and maintaining proactive supportive communication with families.
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential paired with a strong honours degree in Physics Astrophysics Engineering or a closely related quantitative physical science discipline.
Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics in terminal public GCSE examinations across both Combined and Separate Science pathways through structured explicit physics pedagogy.
