Banding: Band 2 & 3
Location: Luton
Rate: 18.00 - 25.78 per hour

Pulse Nursing is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) with phlebotomy experience to join our team in Luton with shifts available Monday to Sunday (8:00am 7:30pm).

We offer competitive hourly pay rates of:

  • Monday to Friday: 18.00 per hour
  • Saturday: 20.96 per hour
  • Sunday & Bank Holidays: 25.78 per hour

Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA you will:

  • Complete POCT cholesterol checks height weight and waist measurements heart rate and blood pressure checks and accurately record findings on the system.
  • Draw two blood samples ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments escalating concerns where appropriate.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • A Certificate in Phlebotomy.
  • A minimum of one years active experience drawing blood.
  • Experience taking patient observations.
  • Excellent patient care skills.
  • The Right to Work in the UK.
