Oxford Hospital Pharmacy Permanent contract Full time
Up to 27900 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

Pharmacy Assistants work as part of a Pharmacy team under the direction of a registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician. The work includes:

  • taking in and handing out prescriptions

  • using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels

  • ordering items

  • receiving loading unloading deliveries

  • delivering medicines to other parts of the hospital

  • answering customers questions face to face or by phone

  • pre-packing assembling and labelling medicines

  • preparing medicines

  • referring problems or queries to the Pharmacist

The purpose of this role is to support the Pharmacy team with daily tasks and duties.

As our Pharmacy Assistant you will:

  • Gain experience on a private hospital setting

  • Learn about different departments and activities within the hospital

  • Participate in Medicines Management projects for the department

  • Be part of an awesome team

To succeed as a Pharmacy Assistant you will need:
