About the role
As a Permit Coordinator youll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of work across the site. Youll coordinate Control of Work and Permit-to-Work processes ensuring documentation isolations and permit conditions are properly managed before during and after work. Working closely with contractors and internal teams youll help identify potential risks maintain accurate records and ensure work is carried out in line with site procedures and safety requirements.
You will be responsible for
Coordinating and managing the Permit-to-Work process ensuring all applications are supported by the correct documentation and approvals.
Review RAMS work packs drawings and job instructions to ensure they align with the agreed scope of work and site requirements.
Monitoring ongoing work and permit conditions identifying potential risks conflicting activities or changes in scope and escalating concerns where required.
Coordinating isolation and Lock Out Tag Out documentation ensuring isolations are completed and verified by authorised personnel.
Maintaining accurate permit records and work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe compliant and efficient site operations.
About you
Youre an organised and detail-focused professional with strong communication and people skills who can remain calm and confident in a busy operational environment. Experience working with permits contractors or within a similar operational setting would be advantageous alongside an understanding of Permit-to-Work Control of Work and RAMS documentation.
Youll be comfortable managing multiple priorities using digital systems and Microsoft Office and working independently while knowing when to escalate concerns. Youll have the confidence to challenge incomplete or non-compliant information appropriately and build positive professional relationships with contractors visitors and colleagues.
