Perioperative Practitioner General

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary planned care for patients throughout the perioperative pathway.
• Provide skilled scrub support for a range of surgical procedures.
• Assist in the management and organisation of care within the theatre team.
• Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care.
• Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety care and clinical practice.

Who Were Looking For

• HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or NMC Registered Nurse with no restrictions.
• Minimum of 2 years scrub experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following specialties: General Surgery ENT Gynaecology Urology or Plastics.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible positive and patient-focused approach.
• Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday - Department is run 7:30am - 8pm
• Rotational weekend commitment
