A busy secondary school in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Performing Arts Technician to support its drama and performing arts provision.
The successful candidate will assist with lessons rehearsals and productions ensuring that performance spaces and technical equipment are properly prepared.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with theatre live events or technical production experience who would enjoy working within an educational environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Setting up performance spaces
Preparing lighting and sound equipment
Supporting rehearsals
Operating technical equipment
Assisting during live performances
Supporting stage management
Maintaining technical equipment
Carrying out equipment checks
Reporting faults
Ensuring equipment is stored safely
The successful candidate should be technically confident organised and able to remain calm under pressure.
Previous experience in theatre events stage production or performing arts technology would be advantageous.
