An exciting opportunity has arisen within Payroll Services at Lancashire County service provides payroll to over 39000 employees for a diverse range of clients which include over 500 schools district councils academies and multi academy trust clients.
The role of the Payroll Officer is to support the efficient administration of a quality accurate and timely payroll and pensions function in accordance with statutory legislative and contractual obligations. You will be part of a supportive team including a team leader and two senior colleagues who provide a professional payroll service working to monthly deadlines and achieving monthly performance targets.
Whilst experience of working within payroll services is not essential you do need:
- Strong communications skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Experience of working to deadlines.
