Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function. This is a standalone specialist role with responsibility for the complete payroll cycle from monthly processing and statutory payments through to pensions reconciliations reporting and compliance.

Reporting to the Head of HR youll be the organisations payroll expert providing advice and guidance to managers and employees while continually improving payroll processes and systems. Youll work closely with colleagues across HR and Finance as well as external stakeholders including pension providers auditors and HMRC.

Youll be someone who enjoys working independently takes pride in accuracy and has a strong understanding of payroll legislation and pension administration. Youll have significant experience delivering end-to-end payroll within a medium or large organisation excellent Excel skills and the ability to analyse data solve problems and explain complex payroll matters in a clear and approachable way.
