What will you do
Are you highly organised confident working with payroll systems and passionate about delivering excellent service to colleagues We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll pension and statutory processes.
In this role you will:
- Prepare and process payroll for a workforce of over 250 employees ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
- Maintain payroll and pension records ensuring all information is kept up to date and handled confidentially.
- Support pension administration auto-enrolment processes and statutory payments.
- Ensure payroll deadlines are met and queries are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Protect confidential payroll and pension data ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to colleagues across the organisation.
You will hold a relevant qualification and possess strong IT skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
What we want you to bring.
- Experience of processing payroll accurately and within agreed timescales.
- A good working knowledge of payroll legislation HMRC requirements pension administration and auto-enrolment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain clear and accurate records.
- A commitment to maintaining and developing technical knowledge through ongoing learning and training.
- Confidence in using payroll software ideally Sage Payroll together with Excel and CSV reporting.
