Payment Administrator Trainee Cost Consultant

Role description:
We have a great opportunity for a Payment Administrator to join our Water team and provide support to a major client in the Water Industry. Our team are based on client site in Falmer and providing services including commercial project management design and business advisory engaging with all levels in the business.
As Payment Administrator you will work to process our Clients payments across their Capitol Delivery programme and liaise with Project Managers and to organise key stakeholders to implement contractual financial agreements.
Role Accountabilities:
Build trusted relationships with internal clients to ensure appropriate quality and service
Ensure payments are made on time
Develop and submit payment certificates for Project Manager approval.
Ensure time and cost are accurately recorded for major projects
Develop and submit accurate payment certificates and disallowed registers.
Support the business in driving best use of business systems
Assess and evaluate processes in order to identify improvements
Create Work Orders and upload Contractors payment assessments onto the Clients Financial software
Experience/Qualifications:
Excel & ERP to a medium proficiency
Strong attention to detail
Ideally you will have previous experience working with Contractors payments
Strong inter-personal and communication skills Excellent time management skills
Desired: Experience of working in medium/large organisation and experience in a project/commercial role in construction
Desired: Part Qualified accounting qualification or equivalent by experience
