Pastry Chef de Partie

We are looking foran experienced and motivated Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen events team at Kings Place in our very own is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-volume environment delivering high-quality pastry creations with efficiency and creativity.

We operate Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pastry CDP or a strong Demi ready to work independently supporting and guiding junior chefs when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the pastry section independently from daily planning and mise en place through to service and close-down.
• Lead pastry production for events functions and hospitality bookings with additional support for restaurant and café service.
• Deliver desserts and baked items to agreed standards of quality consistency and presentation.
• Plan production in line with event schedules and service requirements.
• Manage stock rotation storage labelling and temperature control (FIFO).

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness organisation and food safety.
• Monitor workflow timing and ingredient quality during service.
• Control waste and portioning to support cost control and GP.

Ideal for an experienced Pastry CDP or a strong Demi ready to work independently to support and guide junior chefs when required.
