Our client is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Chelmsford.

The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 and play an important role in developing pupils confidence creativity and practical musical skills.

The ideal candidate will be confident teaching both practical and theoretical elements of Music and will be able to engage pupils with a variety of musical interests and abilities.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons assess student progress and contribute to the continued development of the Music curriculum.

There may also be opportunities to support concerts ensembles performances and other extracurricular musical activities.

The school recognises the important role that Music plays in developing creativity teamwork confidence and communication.

The Music department encourages students to participate in practical activities and provides opportunities for pupils to perform and develop their musical abilities.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and develop their teaching practice.

• Qualified Music Teacher with QTS

• Ability to teach Music at KS3 and KS4

• Strong practical and theoretical Music knowledge

• Experience supporting extracurricular Music would be advantageous

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Ability to inspire pupils of different abilities

• Legal ability to work in the UK
