Are you a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant looking to develop your career with a well-established and growing practice My client is seeking a talented individual to join their team in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all RIBA stages working within a collaborative team on a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
- Assist in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
- Produce high-quality drawings visualisations and presentation material to support planning and design proposals.
- Prepare planning application packages and technical drawing information.
- Work closely with architects consultants and clients to ensure projects progress efficiently.
- Support project teams throughout a range of RIBA work stages.
- Attend client meetings site visits and design team meetings where required.
- Ensure work complies with UK Building Regulations planning policies and industry best practice.
- Contribute creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the design process.
Requirements for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
- RIBA Part 2 qualified.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- SketchUp experience is desirable.
- Desirable experience working on Residential projects.
- Good understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations.
- Strong design presentation and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
