About the role:

This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact paid search activity and directly shape how HeliosX grows. Youll lead strategy and execution end-to-end using paid search to drive new customer growth and influence major commercial outcomes. Its a role for someone with deep channel expertise who wants real ownership and the opportunity to work with other areas of the business to drive measurable business impact..

This isnt a role where you simply oversee accounts from a distance. Youll stay close to the work while also partnering cross-functionally with teams across Product CRO Data Finance Legal and Brando unlock growth opportunities beyond the ad account itself. For someone who has strong paid search expertise and is looking for broader commercial scope autonomy and the chance to help scale major revenue-driving areas of the business this role offers exactly that.

What youll be doing:

Own paid search strategy and performance for your brand/market

• Own paid search strategy and performance end-to-end for your area with accountability for growth customer acquisition and commercial results.
• Set priorities shape quarterly plans and decide where to focus time while owning new customer acquisition targets.
• Stay hands-on in the accounts using data testing and performance insight to drive results.
• Ensure the team continues delivering against the roadmap.

Manage and develop a small team of 1-2 search specialists

• Line manage 1-2 search specialists providing coaching direction and day-to-day support ensuring they have clear objectives development plans and share honest feedback.
• Run one-to-ones and development plans that help team members grow in capability and confidence.
• Create a high-performing team environment while staying close enough to the work to support quality execution.

Drive performance by leveraging cross-functional relationships

• Paid Search isnt won in the ad account alone key requirement of this role will be working with CRO Product and Data teams to get support and buy-in on Paid Search priorities.
• Use cross-functional collaboration to improve landing pages pricing messaging forecasting and overall performance.
• Influence beyond the ad account spotting broader commercial opportunities that can accelerate growth.

Raise the standard across the search team

• Share successes rigorously document test results and learnings support with training sessions and level up wider team.
• Share learnings openly and help raise the quality of thinking and execution across the wider team.
• Contribute to a culture of high standards continuous improvement and deep paid search expertise.

Who You Are

• Google Ads expert (5-7 years in Paid Search)
• Track record of owning strategy and performance against target for brands with sizeable ad spend
• Line management for at least one direct report

Nice to have

• Success with Demand Gen i.e. campaigns on YouTube
• Direct experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
• UK & US markets and working across multiple brands at once
• Some understanding of agentic AI and usage potential in Paid Search
