A welcoming and highly respected secondary school in Hounslow is looking for an experienced School Receptionist to join its busy front office.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for pupils parents staff and visitors and will be expected to provide a professional friendly and efficient service at all times.

• Managing the main reception area.

• Greeting visitors and contractors.

• Following school safeguarding and visitor procedures.

• Answering incoming telephone calls.

• Dealing with parent and carer enquiries.

• Managing visitor sign-in procedures.

• Issuing visitor passes.

• Supporting pupil signing-in and signing-out.

• Assisting with attendance administration.

• Preparing correspondence and documentation.

• Maintaining accurate reception records.

• Providing general administrative support.

• Previous experience working on reception within a school is essential.

• Understanding of school safeguarding and visitor procedures.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Professional and approachable manner.

• Strong administrative and computer skills.

• Ability to remain calm in a busy environment.

• Enhanced DBS required or obtainable.
