As an Outsourcing Assistant Manager you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of high-quality outsourcing and accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will oversee a team ensuring efficient and effective service delivery and support senior management in achieving departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships ensuring exceptional client service.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of accounting professionals providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements management accounts and other financial reports for clients.
- Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting functions including bookkeeping payroll VAT returns and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- ACA ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP FRS 102 and experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks Sage).
- Prior experience of managing or mentoring more junior members of staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service.

For this fantastic opportunity you may be an AAT studying and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT with a background in accountancy practice with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice preparing accounts tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders partnerships and limited companies.
