Summary
- The role of the Organisational Development Partner is pivotal in fostering a workforce that is engaged skilled and high-performing by implementing both strategic and operational organisational development initiatives throughout the Council. This position involves close collaboration with senior leaders managers and various services to pinpoint organisational cultural and workforce development needs. The successful candidate will design evidence-based interventions that enhance service delivery and align with the Councils priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable organisational development advisor to senior leaders managers and services within the Council.
- Assess organisational leadership cultural and workforce development needs and formulate practical solutions.
- Assist in executing the Councils People Strategy and organisational development goals.
- Lead and participate in culture change initiatives that promote organisational values and desired behaviours.
- Create initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement wellbeing and overall organisational performance.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in identifying and diagnosing organisational cultural leadership or workforce development needs.
- Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing organisational development interventions programmes or initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in fields such as Organisational Development Human Resources Learning & Development Workforce Development Business Psychology or a related discipline.
Additional Information
- Working Hours: 36 hours per week

- Work Pattern: Primarily 2 days in the office with additional in-person attendance as project needs dictate.
- Interview Date: Onsite interviews scheduled for 29 September 2026
- Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly payments
