IT Technician Experience and Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in IT Computing or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)

• Previous experience as an IT Technician IT Support Technician or in a similar technical support role

• Strong knowledge of hardware software operating systems and troubleshooting

• Experience supporting users with technical issues and providing clear helpful guidance

• Good understanding of network connectivity printers computers and other IT equipment

• Excellent organisational problem-solving and practical skills

• The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff administrative teams and other IT professionals

• Confidence providing technical support to staff and pupils across a school environment

• A proactive reliable and customer-focused approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to prioritise tasks and respond effectively to technical issues

• The legal right to work in the UK
