Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor to support the Operations Director and oversee building maintenance and project based at the Llanelli office with works across the South region.
This role would suit someone with a strong background infacilities maintenance projects or building services who is confident supervising engineers subcontractors and site activity while keeping clients updated and jobs running to time budget and quality standards.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating construction and maintenance projects from planning through to completion.
Duties will include:
Planning works producing project timelines and coordinating labour materials and equipment
Supervising maintenance staff and subcontractors across live projects and maintenance works
Assigning daily tasks and monitoring team performance
Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout project delivery
Providing regular updates on project progress scope timescales and any issues
Producing quotes for new works and supporting with invoicing
Monitoring costs approving purchases and helping ensure works are delivered cost-effectively
Ordering materials and managing delivery to site
Conducting toolbox talks supervisor meetings and supporting team development
Carrying out site inspections and audits arranging corrective actions where required
Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with H&S procedures client requirements and industry standards
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring staff are working in line with HSE procedures
Providing cover for the Operations Director during periods of leave or absence
The Person:
Experience managing construction building maintenance facilities maintenance or project works
Strong background supervising engineers maintenance teams or subcontractors
Good understanding of building processes construction methods and site-based works
Confident dealing with clients and providing clear updates
Able to manage costs materials quotes and project timelines
Strong understanding of H&S risk assessments and safe working practices
Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple live jobs
NVQ Level 2 or above in Construction / Site Supervision or equivalent would be beneficial
Relevant HSE training certificates would be beneficial
Full UK driving licence
The Package:
Starting salary of 45000
5000 car allowance
Permanent full-time position
40 hours per week
Primarily office and site-based with travel requirements
